Same Message, Different Platform

I know what you're thinking "wh, whaaaat, isn't this the same Cody Potanko who writes for Rum Bunter?!" Yes, yes, it is, and no, there wasn't any bad blood between us or any animosity. It was time to branch out and start to do my own thing and express some creative control on my own terms; what better way to express your own creative freedoms and genuinely feel happy than to do it with a good buddy!

As I refer to him, Murph dog or Anthony and I have been discussing this potential partnership for quite some time now, and we both feel that the timing is right. This lovely partnership started with a simple DM with me asking him to join my podcast and do an episode with me. We instantly clicked, and there was something about him that told me to ask him about partnering up and write together.

For those of you that don't know my story and would like to know, let me give you a brief synopsis. Writing is my passion, and to be more specific, baseball writing is my passion. Ever since my beloved grandmother passed away, I've been looking for that driving force to try and keep her name alive somehow, and what better way than to write about her Pittsburgh Pirates.

I can remember all of the stories she told me, from being Honus Wagner's waitress on several occasions and going to doubleheaders with her dad at Forbes Field. It's her spirit that drives me to do what I love and to continue to show why I was put on this earth. Jumping on this ship with Anthony has made me happier than I have been in months, and I can't wait to help drive this site into the stars!

Much like this blog, you can feel a sense of hope, change, and freedom with these Pittsburgh Pirates. Change isn't always a bad thing, and me joining forces with Anthony will be such a nice change of pace, and hopefully, you guys will be along for the ride! If you're still reading this, I want you to know that your support is very much appreciated, and I can't wait to give you the best damn Pittsburgh Pirates coverage you can get!

Yours truly, Cody

(I felt so fancy saying yours truly lol)
