Arizona Fall League: Ji-Hwan Bae Collects RBI in Peoria Loss

The Peoria Javelinas dropped to a league worse 0-4 on the season after losing to the Scottsdale Scorpions by the score of 8-2.

Ji-Hwan Bae played in his third straight game and while he didn't register a hit, he did drive in a run. He hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third inning to open up the scoring. Playing second base this time around and leading off once again, Bae finished the day 0 for 4 with the RBI.

Playing as the designated hitter and sliding into the two spot in the lineup, Nick Gonzales hit his second double of the AFL season, rounding out his day 2 for 5. He also struck out again.

Bear Bellomy remains the only pitcher to make an appearance among the Pirates' prospects participating in the AFL. Roansy Conteras, Carmen Mlodzinski and Michael Burrows all have yet to make their debut.

There are no scheduled games on Sunday, with the season set to pick back up on Monday.
